The blend of cheeses makes Three Cheese Sausage Burgers even more special 'cause no one can ever guess what makes them taste so super. With so few ingredients, let's keep 'em guessing!
What You'll Need
- 1 pound mild bulk pork sausage
- 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 hard sandwich rolls
What to Do
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well.
- Divide mixture into 4 equal amounts. Make 4 patties and grill them for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cooked through and no pink remains, turning once during grilling. Serve on the sandwich rolls.
Note
You might want to use 1/2 cup of one of the packaged shredded cheese blends that are available (like Mexican- or Italian-style) in place of the Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. It's just one more way to shorten your preparation time.
