Nothing is better than homemade jam. Well, nothing except homemade jam that’s made with freshly picked Florida strawberries. Unlike berries from other places, the berries hand-picked from the sunshine state are some of the most flavorful and juiciest berries you’ll ever eat. So wait no longer, whip up a batch (or two) today, and enjoy!
What You'll Need
- 1 quart fresh Florida strawberries, washed, hulled, and quartered
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
What to Do
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring all ingredients to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Place in an airtight container or mason jar and refrigerate overnight before serving.
Test Kitchen Tip
We highly recommend spooning this over everything from ice cream to grilled chicken. The only thing is, we have to warn you that eating this on a regular basis may cause uncontrollable smiles.
