I just found the best go-along for meat and poultry. I know you'll enjoy these great Old World flavors!
What You'll Need
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon caraway seed
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 cups (½ of a medium-sized head) shredded cabbage
What to Do
- In a large skillet, heat all the ingredients, except the cabbage, over medium heat, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Add the cabbage and stir to coat. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Notes
For a special taste treat, substitute apple cider vinegar for the white vinegar.

I prefer apple cider vinegar. I'd replace the 2 tablespoons of white vinegar with around 3 tablespoons or more, depending on your taste. Apple cider vinegar with a slices of 1 apple, and oooo..it's sooooo goodddd..:)
