Made this for Christmas and everyone loved it!!! Only I only froze it for 6 hours instead of 8 (made a similar recipe which called for the 8hrs which was too long which is why I only used 6 hrs for this recipe). Would definitely make this again. Huge success; was delicious !!!

I have made this 2 times, the first time I made it according to recipe. It was delicious but was difficult to eat. In the frozen state, you had to chisel to get a bite, if set out for 20-30 min. it started to crumble. The 2nd time I made it, I used @12 oz. Cool Whip & 1 C. sour cream and the texture was better. However, when I used the Cool Whip I did not use added sugar, that was a mistake. Next time I will add @ 1/4 C. of Splenda or sugar. The recipe is delicious, light, refreshing but I would like to hear how others serve this so that it is easier to eat & serve.

Made this today. It grows on you....liked it more as we ate more of it. It is light and refreshing even though it has 2 cups of sour cream in it. The sour cream and lemon give an interesting flavor. Thanks Mr. Food

My recipe for this uses fresh dark red cherry slices instead of maraschino, and leaves out the nuts. I use neufchatel cheese instead of cream cheese, because it has fewer calories and less fat. I add some almond extract too, gives it a hint of marzipan. My version was a big hit at Christmas Eve social this year! Thanks for sharing!

This desert was absolutely yummy. The only suggestion is that it needs about 30 minutes out before serving. That way the grapes are not icy.

I clicked on Amish Church Spread and this came up instead in the list of December top 10 Most Popular Easy Recipes. Somebody goofed in the posting. Went back and tried 3 more times and it still came up incorrectly.

I don't have a bundt pan or jello mold, so I used an oblong flat container and cut it into squares to serve it. I put a dollop of whip cream and cherry on each cut square. Worked out fine.

This sounds yummy, but can I use dried cherries or canned cherries since I don't like the maraschino cherries?

mascarpone cheese would probably work, too. Sour cream gives it that cheesecake texture & taste, though.

Looked good and easy. We will have to substitute for the walnuts because of allergies.

Sounds good. Can't wait to make it. I will use plain or vanilla yogurt in place of sour cream. Probably one of each.

Sounds very good. To make this even healthier, you can add about 4 drops of maple syrup to 2 cups of fat free Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, I make this faux sour cream all of the time and as long as you don't add too much maple syrup it is very good.

I am wondering if there would be a substitute for the sour cream, I'm just not a fan!
