When I clicked on this recipe, it lists the ingredients but NO Instructions! So, how do I make this? Note this is not the first recipe I clicked on that did not include instructions. How do I solve this problem?

Hi Doris, We are working to restore the instrections but in the meantime I included them here. Thanks! 1. In a medium bowl, combine mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables; mix well. Place an equal amount of the mixture at one end of each roast beef slice; roll up crepe-style. 2. In a large deep skillet, combine gravy and water over medium heat until bubbly. Add beef rolls seam-side down, cover, and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, or until heated through. Serve with gravy spooned over top of rollups.

This is an interesting recipe and I agree that it would be a great way to use left over roast beef. You could also use left over mashed potatoes from the night before. I also really like the idea of using stuffing instead of the mashed potatoes. This recipe has a lot of positive reviews, so I think I will book mark this to make later.

Fast, easy, great use for leftovers, and nice eye appeal. One reader suggested cooking the deli roast beef a day ahead? It is already cooked guys. Heat the plate in shifts, with that being added last so it won't get "micro" tough like meats can.

Thought it was great. Quick and easy. Of course, I'm a big fan of mashed potatoes and gravy

When I made this, my roast beef was very, very tough. Any suggestions?

Hi Heather! We suggest using rare roast beef and cooking on low heat for the least amount of time that is needed to warm the potatoes inside. Also, make sure that your potato filling is warm, so it won't have to cook as long to get heated inside. Please let us know how it turns out!

Deli roast beef is a chopped formed product meant to be shaved or sliced very thin. If you try to slice it much thicker, it will be tough as shoe leather.

ALSO, cook the roast beef the day before, then cool it overnight in the refrigerator. It is easier to cut thin slices when the roast is cool.

Been making these for years when Mr. Food made them on a tv show! They were called roast beef rolls and were made in the oven! Always a hit with the family!

on the 15 minute roast beef skillet do you use 2 slices of roast beef for one roll?
