Our Easy Cheeseburger Ring is a family-favorite, ground beef dinner recipe that gets everyone excited! It's simple, tasty, and easy to customize. It even doubles as a great party appetizer. The best part? No matter where you serve it, it's gonna be budget-friendly. Everyone loves a totally classic cheeseburger way of chowing down!
What You'll Need
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef and onion, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, Cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook 1 to 2 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Unroll crescent rolls. Place wide end of triangles in center of pizza pan, forming a ring, overlapping dough as necessary. Spoon meat mixture into center of each triangle. Bring smaller ends of triangles over meat, tucking ends under.
- Bake 20 minutes, or until rolls are golden. Serve warm.

Some brands of crescent rolls Ive used for other things seem too small for this recipe. What brand do you recommend?

This is a really easy way of feeding a group when they want cheeseburgers but you don't feel like making a batch of individual ones. When I've made this, I've always added some extra cheese, along with adding some crumbled bacon to the beef mixture. I've also sprinkled some shredded cheddar cheese over the ring before baking. It's an excellent item to make for over the busy holiday season.

can I make this individually? If so how?

Yes, you can make this individually by rolling out each crescent roll and filling with the meat mixture. Please be aware that you will not be able to fill them with a lot of meat mixture as in the big ring. Enjoy!

Absolutely a fantastic recipe. I did substitute bbq sauce for the ketchup and mustard. It would be great as a party snack or while watching sports on TV.

Going to try this, but am allergic to onions. I'm going to try onion powder as a substitute.

I think this would be just as good with Taco mix in it.

Probably better! Just add some sour cream, avocado, pico de gaio (sp?), salsa, black olives, jalapenos and it would be yummy.

In the video, alot more than a couple of tablespoons of ketchup and mustard were added (not measured). I guess do this to taste... sounds simple and quick for a weeknight meal.

Easy Fix. Don't add Ketchup or Mustard before baking. Instead, have those condiments available for dipping or drizzling over meal on the plate/individual serving .... along with bacon.... blue cheese (Crumbles or Dressing) Mayo......... BBQ Sauce......

I tried this recipe this weekend with excellent results. I added bacon and used cheddar jack cheese. It was so easy to make and turned out very tasty. I'm going to try replacing the ketchup with BBQ sauce and use spicy brown mustard next time. Thought it might be interesting to use the unperforated crescent roll sheets and make a roll.
