    Chicken Chow Mein

    Chow mein noodles add crunch to an already-succulent chicken dish. Make your own Chicken Chow Mein instead of getting take-out!

    What You'll Need

    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 1 small onion, finely chopped
    • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
    • 3 ribs celery, thinly sliced
    • 1 jar (12 ounces) chicken gravy
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 can (10 ounces) chunk chicken, drained and flaked
    • 1 can (14 ounces) bean sprouts, drained
    • 1 jar (2 ounces) chopped pimientos, drained

    What to Do

    1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, mushrooms, and celery, and sauté until tender.
       
    2. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer until heated through, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately.

    Notes

    Serving: For added crunch, sprinkle with chow mein noodles just before serving.
