This sounds, looks, and tastes so fancy that the company will think you worked hard all day. We'll keep it our little secret.
What You'll Need
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into chunks about 2 x 1-inches
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup honey
What to Do
- In a large bowl, mix the wine, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Add the chicken pieces, stir to coat, and marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Drain chicken, reserving marinade.
- In a shallow dish, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Lightly dredge the chicken, one piece at a time, in the seasoned flour.
- In a large frying pan, heat the oil until moderately hot. Add the chicken and cook, turning, until brown on all sides. Add the honey to the reserved marinade and pour over chicken. Cover and simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes or until tender. Transfer chicken to serving platter and spoon sauce over.
