Since watermelon is so great for hydration, this is a great thing to serve to the kids when they are spending the day outside in the hot sun! If you don't want that much sugar, you could substitute agave nectar or even stevia. It is such a great way to use up that leftover watermelon - we have a small family of three, and when we get one of the big ones there is a ton that ends up sitting in the fridge for days losing flavor.
