Thank you Mr. Food Test Kitchen for this wonderful recipe for authentic Italian cookies. Lemon and orange are popular additions in Southern Italian recipes for cookies, cakes, etc. This recipe is very nice because because the cookies have the flavor of both the lemon extract and orange juice. My Mom and grandmothers also often added a little grated orange rind or lemon rind to cookies and plain cakes. Your recipes bring back many happy memories! Rachel
