When we were kids, we used to love the taste and texture of orange Creamsicle pops! They were a combo of vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet. So, with that thought in mind, we decided to make a similar creamy treat...but in a pie! And to make it even more refreshing, let's use lime sherbet! Wow - what a zippy way to start off the summer!
What You'll Need
- 1 pint lime sherbet, softened
- 1 (9-inch) graham cracker pie crust
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 teaspoon grated lime peel
What to Do
-
Spread lime sherbet in pie crust then spread vanilla ice cream over sherbet.
-
Sprinkle with grated lime peel, cover, and freeze 3 hours, or until firm.
Notes
To give this a fancy look, just before serving, top each piece with half a slice of lime.
