Put away the Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper, 'cause this calzone is far from the traditional tomato and cheese Italian version. It's a quick toss-together lunch.
What You'll Need
- 1 (15-ounce) package folded refrigerated pie crusts
- 3/4 pound -inch-thick deli chicken roll, cubed
- 1 (15 -ounce) can tropical fruit salad, drained
- 1/4 cup golden raisins
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
What to Do
-
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Coat 2 baking sheets with cooking spray. Unfold pie crusts. Cut each in half and place on baking sheets.
-
In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
-
Spread equal amounts of mixture over half of each crust half, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Fold pie crust over filling, forming triangles. With a fork, pinch edges together firmly to seal. Coat tops of calzones with cooking spray.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes, or until crust is golden. Serve immediately.
