Do the crumbs stick to the meat without being dipped in egg, or is that the purpose of spraying them with cooking spray?

Hello! The crumbs will stick without the use of eggs. The purpose of using cooking spray is so that the topping will brown and crisp in a short amount of cooking time. Enjoy!
