These spuds will really shake things up! Just watch -- Buttery Potato Balls are sure to add excitement to any main dish. (And they're fun to make, too!)
What You'll Need
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 2 (15-ounce) cans whole small potatoes, drained (see Note)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Coat a large rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray; set aside.
- Place butter in a shallow dish; add potatoes, and roll to coat potatoes completely with butter.
- In a large resealable plastic storage bag, combine remaining ingredients. Add buttered potatoes to bag and shake until thoroughly coated.
- Remove potatoes and shake off any excess flour. Roll coated potatoes in remaining butter and place on baking sheet.
- Bake potato balls 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden, turning halfway through baking.
Note
If the potatoes are large, cut them into 1-inch chunks so the pieces will all be about the same size.

Open the can of potatoes, drain, place on paper towels to dry them. Melt butter in dish in oven, place in the dried potatoes, roll them around in the butter, bake, stirring gently until browned. Salt and pepper.
