Simple quick and delicious just like Mr.Food always promises! I make it in a one quart mason jar with my immersion blender, but add the blue cheese or gorgonzola last. I blend in about 1/2 of the cheese with the immersion blender and then just stir in the rest so it's still chunky, which is how I like it. I do cheat a little and use some yogurt instead of all sour cream and I use 5 oz of cheese, only because that's how much is in the containers I buy.

I recently learned that I am allergic to onions, and so I have embarked on an adventure of home cooking where I can control the ingredients--starting with salad dressings. This is very tasty! I think I overblended the dressing in my Vitamix (VERY powerful blender). Next time I will stir in the blue cheese (I used Gorgonzola) after blending the other ingredients. I am wondering if "4 oz blue cheese" is the same as 1/2 cup. Also wondering how long this dressing will keep in the fridge.

4 oz of blue cheese is the weight, not a 1/2 cup measure.
