Garlicky, peppery, and oh-so delish, these Garlic Pepper Parmesan Crisps are a delight! This crunchy crowd-pleaser is yum-my!
What You'll Need
- 12 ounces freshly grated Parmesan cheese (see note)
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. Sprinkle cheese mixture into a 1-1/2-inch round cookie cutter placed on a nonstick baking sheet. Repeat procedure with cheese mixture, placing 16 circles on 2 or more sheets.
- Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until golden. Cool slightly on baking sheets. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. Repeat procedure with remaining cheese mixture.
Notes
Using a cookie cutter makes it easier to shape these cheese crisps into rounds but sprinkling the cheese into a free-form shape works just as well. Keep in mind, though, that your yield may change slightly. Whichever way you shape them, be sure to use only freshly grated Parmesan. Its texture plays a part in shaping these lacy crisps.
