Healthful Granola

This granola is not only good for you, it's good to eat! Keep it on hand for healthy-and tasty-snacking for kids and grown-ups alike.
What You'll Need
- 2 cups uncooked regular oats
- 3/4 cup uncooked hot oat bran cereal
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped pitted dates
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup sunflower kernels
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
- Stir together honey and next 3 ingredients in a small bowl; stir into dry ingredients. Spread mixture onto a 10- x 15-inch rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake 20 minutes or until dark brown, stirring often; cool in pan on a wire rack. Stir in raisins and remaining ingredients, and store in an airtight container. Stir granola into yogurt, or sprinkle over cereal.
