Who said eating lighter is boring? No way! This chicken has the saucy combination of cayenne pepper and brown sugar! A taste sensation that'll keep you and your gang coming back for more.
What You'll Need
- 16 wooden or metal skewers
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees . If using wooden skewers, soak them in water 15 to 20 minutes.
- Thread one chicken strip onto each skewer.
- In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Coat chicken with mixture and place on a rimmed baking sheet that has been lined with aluminum foil and coated with cooking spray. Bake 14 to 16 minutes, or until chicken is cooked and juices run clear, turning halfway through baking. Serve immediately.
