Here's a really easy, fun way to enjoy a taste of the Southwest. And instead of salsa, you can add anything from peanut butter to ham and mustard, chopped cooked bacon, or apple slices! Why not make an assortment for some quick entertaining?
What You'll Need
- 1 package (10 ounces) 7-inch flour tortillas (10 shells)
- 10 pieces string cheese
- 1 jar (8 ounces) salsa
What to Do
- Place 1 piece of the string cheese in each tortilla; top each piece of cheese with 1 tablespoon of salsa and roll up the tortillas.
- Place the rolls, seam-side down, on a microwaveable plate. Pop them into the microwave, a few at a time, and heat for 20 to 30 seconds, or until the cheese starts to melt. Let the rolls cool a bit before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the roll-ups in advance, store them in the refrigerator, and then just microwave them when you're ready to serve.
