Puffy and tasty, these Onion Popovers are de-lic-ious! We know you'll wanna keep them all to yourself, but be sure to share- your friends and family will thank you for it!
What You'll Need
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl; make a well in center of mixture. Combine milk and eggs in a small bowl; add to dry ingredients, stirring until mixture is almost smooth. Spoon batter into 8 greased 6-ounce ovenproof custard cups or muffin cups.
- Bake 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees, and bake 15 more minutes. Remove from custard cups immediately.
Notes
I love to watch these tasty little rolls puff up in the oven! They'll puff the highest if you bake 'em in the custard cups, but muffin pans work fine, too. Boy, are these yummy!
