Is it necessary to use the broiler, and the hot sauce? Can it be prepared in a Nuwave oven without the hot sauce?

You can definitely leave the hot sauce out. As far as cooking in a Nuwave oven, we have not tested the recipe this way. If you use one regularly and know it will cook the chicken to your liking, you can certainly try. This chicken is nice and crunchy when broiled, we are not sure if you will get the same results with a Nuwave oven. Good luck!
