Onion Crusted Salmon

Salmon sure is popular in Norway. And when we top fresh salmon with a crispy onion topping like they do there...WOW!
What You'll Need
- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1 can (2.8 ounces) French-fried onions
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried dillweed
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
- Place the salmon in a 7" x 11" baking dish that has been coated with nonstick vegetable spray.
- In a food processor or blender, combine the remaining ingredients except the butter and process until the onions are in crumbs (about 5 seconds).
- Place 1/4 cup of the onion mixture on each fillet and drizzle with the melted butter.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
