- COOK TIME
- 25 Min
Fresh tuna steaks let you be the hit of the night with the catch of the day! (And did you know that Point Judith, Rhode Island, is the Tuna Capital of the World?!)
What You'll Need
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 2 pounds tuna steak
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a small bowl, mix together all the marinade ingredients: the dry red wine, soy sauce, ground ginger, honey, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, and sugar.
- Place the tuna in a 9" x 13" baking dish and pour the prepared marinade over the tuna. Marinate, uncovered, in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Pour off and discard the marinade, leaving just enough to cover the bottom of the baking dish.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
