Attention, salmon lovers! Here's one I bet you didn't think you could make at home without fancy kitchen equipment. And with only three ingredients, you'll be wanting to poach up a storm.
What You'll Need
- 1 (2-pound) fresh salmon fillet
- 1 fresh lemon, sliced -inch thick
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
- Place a 16- to 18-inch-long piece of aluminum foil in a large roasting pan; place the salmon on the foil and bring up the sides of the foil.
- Place the lemon slices on top of the salmon and pour the wine over the top. Wrap the foil tightly around the fish and fill the roasting pan with 1/2 inch of warm water. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
- Carefully unwrap the foil and remove the lemon slices. Serve warm or cold.
Notes
- A two-pound fillet of salmon is one large piece of boneless salmon. Ask for it at your local fish market or at your supermarket fish department.
- Try serving this with some fresh squeezed lemon juice or our Patient Dill Sauce -- it's delicious!

Thank you for your question! We do not have a recipe similar to what you are looking for. However, you can flake the leftover salmon and toss it in a salad. Or if you want to try to make your salmon like your tuna, give it a shot and let us know how it turns out! Thank you again!
