Fire up the grill for these Salmon Steaks because these are yum beyond belief! We love these babies and you will, too!
What You'll Need
- 4 (8-ounce) salmon steaks (1-inch thick)
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
What to Do
- Place steaks in a large shallow dish. Combine remaining ingredients; cover and chill half of brown sugar mixture for basting. Brush remaining half over steaks. Cover and marinate in refrigerator up to 6 hours.
- Preheat the grill. Remove steaks from dish, discarding marinade; place in a greased grilling basket. Grill, covered, over medium-high heat (350 to 400 degrees) 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, basting often with reserved marinade.
Notes
Bring out the grill basket! Fish sometimes sticks when cooked directly on the grill rack, even using cooking spray. But the grill basket does the job nicely! And you don't want to miss a single bite!
