- How to Measure Dry Ingredients: Use a plastic or stainless steel measuring cup with a flat handle. Dip the cup into whatever dry ingredient you are measuring. Fill a heaping cup, then take a knife and push off the excess so that the ingredient is level with the flat handle. You now you have a perfect measure!
- How to Measure Liquid Ingredients: Use a glass measuring cup with a spout. Pour ingredient into the cup on a flat surface. Do not lift up the cup to read, instead bend down and read at eye level for a perfect measure! You can also buy an Angled Measuring Cup, which allows you to make a perfect measure without bending down.
- How to Measure Sticky Ingredients: Spray a liquid measuring cup with non-stick cooking spray and follow the instruction for measuring liquids. The non-stick cooking spray will allow sticky ingredients to pour our easily. If you measure sticking ingredients a lot, you may want to invest in a Push-Up Measuring Cup. With this, you just measure the amount needed, push-up, and use a knife to push off ingredient.
