We bet you'll want to hide out in the forest when you're eating this pie. Why? Because you probably won't want to share it with anyone, especially not the big bad wolf!
What You'll Need
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 (9-inch) prepared chocolate graham cracker crusts
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
What to Do
-
In a large bowl, with an electric beater on medium speed, beat cream cheese and cocoa together until creamy. Slowly add confectioners' sugar and continue beating until well blended. With a spoon, stir in vanilla and fold in whipped topping.
-
Pour mixture into pie crust(s) and chill about 2 hours, or until firm. Top with cherry pie filling and serve immediately or cover and chill until ready to use.

Made this recipe and it tastes great. However, seeing that it supposedly made two pies I cut the recipe in half to make one pie. The filling didn't come close to the top of the pie shell. If you make this, make the full recipe and put it in ONE pie shell.

This has to be an error in powdered sugar. It takes 1 box. It will work correctly then.

Ok this is the second time that I've been burned here by a dessert recipe I looked and looked at this recipe and had a feeling that something was off It is I dare anyone out there to try to mix a half pound of cream cheese with a cup of cocoa and have it turn out creamy It's not gonna happen I added another package of cream cheese and another cup of confectioner's sugar and started getting something that looked and tasted like it might be ok I also adjusted the vanilla I couldn't adjust the cool whip because I didn't have anymore Even after all this it only filled one pie crust and a small pudding cup I tasted it again and it's ok - but nothing that I'd serve company i think I'm gonna quit looking here for quality dessert recipes Ingredients are too expensive to waste Did…Read More anyone in the test kitchen actually try this I'm very disappointed in this website HAPPY HOLIDAYS
