Hello "Mr. Foods Team"! Been awhile since I've commented, but still look up and make your recipes thank you for all the awesome recipes! (A suggestion for those who have GLUTEN PROBLEMS).... make this (without the crust) !!! Sincerely, 'little ole' Ohio cook'

This is the BEST pie ever!!!I put 1/2 to 3/4 cup of lemon juice. Also I use cool whip when I am in a hurry, works out perfectly.

I liked the looks of this lemon pie recipe 4/18/15. Made it for Mother's Day tomorrow. Now patiently leaving it alone! Happy Mother's Day y'all.

Made this for Sunday family dinner and it was a big hit. This is a keeper. )

Pictures and simplicity of your ice box pie recipes always make me stop and investigate.

what is a substitute for the condensed milk?

Hi there! Unfortunately, we do not think there is a good substitute for the condensed milk in this recipe.

can you use cool whip or does it have to be whipping cream? aren't there different kinds of whipping cream, so what do I use?

This is a good, basic recipe, though I never used the whipping cream. I did, however, add some lemon zest, because I like my lemon pies on the tart side. And I used more lemon juice, 1/3-1/2 C. It thickens like magic as you stir the ingredients together. Also, there are all kinds of variations you can play on it. I used to make my own crumb crusts and save out a little to sprinkle on top of the pie. You can also use the lemon cream as a topping for other stuff, say vanilla pudding.

my lemonade pie is kinda like thet which is condensed milk, 12oz. cool whip and 6ozs. frozen lemonade. combine chilled condensend milk and cool whip. then add frozen lemonade& fold- pour into crust.

I think this is my kind of pie. My husband and I are both fans of lemon pie and I don't always have a lot of time or warning that I need to make a pie and this sounds like it was made just for me. Thank You Mr. Food

OMG!!! I have been trying to find recipe for over 40 yrs. THANK YOU!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO MAKE IT!!!!
