    What You'll Need

    • 1 pound ground pork or veal
    • 2 teaspoons ground sage
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    What to Do

    1. In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients except the oil; mix well. Form the mixture into eight equal-sized patties.
    2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and pan-fry the patties for 6 to 8 minutes, or until no pink remains.
