YUCK! Way too sweet for my liking. It's like Ketchup Stew. My mother loved it and what was left went home with her. Definitely won't be making this again.

I tried this recipe last night. It's always disappointing when I don't have all the ingredients but it was stiil good. I substituted the bottom round for 98% lean hamburger meat, substituted carrots for corn and green peas (leftover veggies). I will make this again with the correct ingredients. Overall this was a great recipe. My husband loved it, and we have leftovers for tonight. The best part sitting overnight in the fridge and all the spices having more time to marinate. Can't wait for dinner.
