A tasty, meaty meal has never been easier than it is with Rigatoni Toss. This dish is an easy weeknight favorite that the kids will love.
What You'll Need
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (15-ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 1/2 pound rigatoni pasta
What to Do
- In a soup pot, brown beef over medium-high heat, stirring to break up the meat. Drain excess liquid and add bell pepper, carrots, onion, and garlic. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add remaining ingredients except rigatoni; mix well, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to marry, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook rigatoni according to package directions; drain. Toss rigatoni with sauce, and serve.

For kkathrinec22: No, you do not need to mix the bouillon cube with water. It will dissolve in the hot tomato sauce and flavor the sauce. Good luck.
