I made this yesterday, it was easy to eat with my new dentures. Oh how I missed bread, I will be making this again.

Second review after some tweaks. Shredded some jalapeno cheese and a little cheddar, used more cheese than recipe indicated. Poured melted butter into batter, put both cheeses on top as indicated in recipe than poured another melted tablespoon of butter over all, baked as directed. This stayed moist much longer than original recipe. Jalapeno cheese gave more flavor.

Delish right out of the oven, tasteless when it cools. Needs more flavor, maybe bacon as someone suggested, or diced pepperoni. Batter needs more onion and more cheese.

made this the other night for a side with a pasta dish. we enjoyed it very much. it was light, not dense as it may appear in the photo. don't let the amount of batter ( or lack there of ) in the pie plate fool you, it cooked up just like the picture shows. "OOH IT'S SO GOOD!!" try it--you'll like it.

We asked our test kitchen about using a bread pan but Patty, our director, said, "This should not be done in a bread pan because a bread pan is too deep. You need a surface area. It could be done in an 8- or 9-inch round pan, as in the recipe instructions, or an 8" x 8" square pan." Hope this helps!
