My family has made something similar to this for years at family gatherings. But, instead of whipped cream, we use cream cheese. Blend together the cream cheese, lemon juice(I think it's about 1/3 cup of lemon juice) and sweetened condensed milk. We also put sliced bananas on the crust before adding the cream cheese mixture. Let it chill long enough for the cream cheese mixture to set and then add the blueberries....or in our case, blueberry pie filling. Yummmmmmm.....

This is a delicious pie and oh, so easy. If you can't get fresh blueberries, you can use blueberry pie filling. Another thing I've done is to place sliced bananas on the bottom of the crust and then the filling. Very good and refreshing. I haven't found anyone who doesn't like it.

Is the cream to be whipped or just put in the cream not whipped? Thanks.

the cream is already whipped, you buy it ready in those plastic containers in the refrigerated section of a grocery store. Just let it sit out for a while , otherwise it will be frozen.

You can either used whipped topping, such as Cool Whip or you can make your own whipped cream, the choice is yours. Enjoy!
